Hyolyn's Tender New Collaboration Called "Hug Me Silently"
As Valentine's Day 2020 comes and goes, once again we are reminded hope springs eternal, for love. The guys are extra gracious, and the girls dress up a little nicer. And, the smiles all around come a little easier. But, even amid all the red roses and chocolates exchanged, are reminders of past loves and heartbreak, where the only gift we seek is a hug, even if just a silent hug.
Hyolyn's new single called "Hug Me Silently," allows ever so briefly, a soothing 4 minute relief from the dull sensation of longing and wishing. It's a collaboration with the male vocalist Crucial Star.
The former lead vocalist for the all female k-pop group Sistar hasn't put up her spores and gone on an extended vacation from music. Instead she has bravely taken hold of her solo career, showing the industry that there is life afterwards for female kpop stars beyond the age of 20-ish. She's toured the United States and embarked on a world tour in 2019.
